Bookstall

Many thanks to all our book contributors for providing an interesting range of books. We have  been reviewing the books which sell well and those that languish unsold. The greater interest is in novels while factual reference books seem to have less appeal. So, we would appreciate  if people only provided novels for our bookstall in future. The bookstall continues to be a valuable revenue stream throughout the year.

Gardening

During this extended period of dry weather we need to keep watering the areas we have planted, using watering cans during the hosepipe ban. Offers to help would be appreciated and if you can help please contact Bob Cowan (bobthesailor@icloud.com)

Memory Group Meetings

The FFCH trustees and committee would like to express their thanks to the Royal British Legion at Park Gate for their continued  support  to our memory groups. These groups give people affected by memory issues and their carers, time to meet for a couple of hours in a friendly and secure environment; to play games, chat, and be entertained by various soloist singers and singing groups. Meetings start each Monday at 10.30 am and again at 1.00 pm, all are welcome.

Volunteers Evening - date for your diary
